Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff
50% scholarships
Heinz College awards all admitted City Year applicants a scholarship equivalent to a minimum of 50% of current tuition for any program within the Heinz College. Scholarship recipients must meet Heinz College’s admission criteria.
Applicants will be awarded additional merit-based awards based upon their application of admission.

- There is no fee to apply.
- Enrollment deferral: a one-year deferral for students admitted to Heinz College who decide to serve additional time with City Year before starting their program.
