Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff
$12,000-$14,000 fellowships
A minimum $14,000 tuition fellowship will be awarded for the two-year Master of Public Policy program to all admitted City Year applicants per year. This funding is awarded through the tuition fellowship as well as through payment for community service, teaching, research or a graduate assistantship.
A $12,000 tuition fellowship will be awarded during the first year of study for dual-degree programs to all admitted City Year applicants. These students must spend one year in the Master of Public Policy program before starting a dual degree in the Juris Doctor, Master of Environmental Management or Master of Business Administration programs.
These tuition fellowships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.
These fellowships represent the minimum awards; all applicants will be considered for additional merit-based aid depending on the strength of their application.
