Simmons University Graduate Programs

City Year is proud to partner with Simmons University, a pioneering liberal arts undergraduate institution with nationally recognized graduate programs , offering 25 to 50% tuition scholarships to City Year AmeriCorps members, alums, and staff enrolling in eligible programs.

Simmons University’s Graduate Liberal Arts programs offer City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

the Simmons City Year Partnership Scholarship

The Simmons University City Year Partnership award will be equal to at least 25% and up to 50% total tuition, based upon tuition rates at the time of admission. Both part-time (five or more credits) and full-time students (10 or more credits) are eligible to be considered for the Simmons City Year scholarship. Up to 25 Simmons City Year scholarships will be awarded across eligible Simmons graduate programs each academic year. Applicants who do not receive a City Year Partnership Scholarship are automatically considered for additional merit-based awards depending on the strength of their application and availability of funds.

Please note that, in some programs, City Year applicants may also be considered for additional merit and endowed scholarship awards, but are unable to combine the Simmons City Year Scholarship with other partner, professional or alumnae scholarships or discounts. Students enrolling in an employer-based cohort are also ineligible to receive the Simmons City Year Scholarship. Following admission, a scholarship letter will detail the total awarded amount and associated terms.

The Simmons City Year Scholarship is awarded to a City Year AmeriCorps member or alum who has completed at least one term of service or a City Year staff member employed for at least one year before enrolling at Simmons.
