Stetson University offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff
40% scholarships
The award will be equal to at least 40% of tuition for up to 10 City Year recipients per year, with flexibility to allocate these scholarship slots between qualifying undergraduate and graduate programs.
Scholarships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.
Applicants will be considered for additional merit-based awards depending on the strength of their application.

Graduate
The scholarships described above apply to the following graduate programs:
- Master of Accountancy
- Master of Business Administration
- Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling
- Master of Science in marriage, couple and family counseling
- Master of Education in educational leadership

- Application fee waiver
- Enrollment deferral: Admitted students will be permitted to defer enrollment by one year if they decide to stay with City Year for additional time before starting their studies.

Please also self-identify on your résumé and/or essay.
To access the application fee waiver and apply for the scholarship
To get the application fee waived and be considered for the scholarship, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “Stetson University (specify undergrad or grad): City Year verification letter request” in the subject line. Within the email, include the site where you served and your AmeriCorps graduation month and year. This letter will be sent electronically by City Year to the admissions office and added to your applicant file.
