In Memory of Ahmaud Arbery

Dear City Year Community,

This afternoon, our hearts are with the parents, loved ones, and friends of Ahmaud Arbery. While today’s verdict brings some justice, our thoughts and prayers remain with those who continue to grieve and miss him. We’re grateful for the rendering of accountability, while anxiously looking ahead to an even more sustained, systemic demonstration that Black Lives Matter in America.

Sending love and care to each member of our community as we head into the holiday season.

Yours in service,
The City Year Office of Equity
